The latest in my line of work for the LlamaLAN ([link]) organisers!

I seem to enjoy enslaving myself to challenging projects, and so decided to draw multiple posters for the latest event - LlamaLAN IX. You can find out the thinking behind the concepts in this series by reading my latest journal post ([link]).

Red Team: As the series progresses, the arching themes become clearer. There are also a number of happy coincidences. The organisers like to pick themes and taglines that are inspired by the event's number, which in this case is the number nine. The "Seven of Nine" now makes an appearance in the form of Se7en ([link]) herself (from LlamaLAN VII). If you compare, the hair is way cooler in this version. Clearly the outfit is nicked right off Seven of Nine, but she's also taken up the Medic class from Team Fortress 2. She's accompanied by the eighth of nine - Jack, of LlamaLAN VIII fame ([link]). In LlamaLAN VIII's poster, Jack was all dressed up as Jack Carver from Far Cry ([link]) and, thanks to the Borg's modifications, I was excited by the chance to mingle the Crysis references on top of the Far Cry references. He's grabbed the grenade launcher and beer bottle from TF2's demoman.

I'm chuffed with this one. I think Jack looks particularly good.

So we've come this far. The modifications have become steadily more invasive and we've reach the tower to which all the cables lead. Who is Nine of Nine? Stay tuned for the final part.
