The latest in my line of work for the LlamaLAN ([link]) organisers!

I seem to enjoy enslaving myself to challenging projects, and so decided to draw multiple posters for the latest event - LlamaLAN IX. You can find out the thinking behind the concepts in this series by reading my latest journal post ([link]).

Finally, part five of the LlamaLAN IX series reveals the one behind it all. I aimed to create a character who looked entrancing, almost angelic, but with an expression of malevolent intent. All the other borg mods built onto the other characters have been irregular implants, but to enhance her appeal I made her suit almost completely symmetrical. I also wanted to give suggestion of royalty so threw in a few details to suggest something along these lines.

She's the assimilator and suits the role of TF2's engineer very well - hence the spanner and golden crown.

I've nearly died trying to get this series complete by today (my own deadline, two days before the LAN's discount signup cutoff date) and, despite the amount of housework I've now got to catch up with, it was definately worth it.

And I've actually thrown caution to the wind and made the full view the full 1200 px high version because the details will be missed otherwise.
