TOnyx the Spacebull

tEKN1K are a group who play PC games competitively and organise online competitions. They're sponsored by Red Bull and I think Apex Hosting. However, they used to be 'Nervous Gamers', but changed their name only in the last seven days. One of them asked for assistance in the LlamaLAN forums [link] and was pointed my way.

So what they needed, fairly urgently, was a mascot for their team tEKN1K, a website banner featuring the guy and their name, and a vector graphic for a tshirt design. First time I tried anything in this particular style, turned out okay.

I sketched up a couple of ideas and ultimately draw this chap in Coreldraw 8. The guy who commissioned me wanted their sponsors Red Bull to influence something about their mascot, hence the bull horns and tail. I actually think they add some character to the guy. This and the colour scheme (based on their new site's own palette) inspired the name I gave him in the title.
